Dom & Charlie’s Newport Wedding Weekend

When we first spoke with Dom and Charlie, it was clear they wanted more than just a beautiful wedding — they wanted a full weekend that felt thoughtful, stylish, and completely personal. The kind of experience where guests feel like they're part of something special the moment they arrive.

The celebration kicked off with a Friday evening Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph’s Church in Newport, followed by a welcome party at the International Tennis Hall of Fame — a playful nod to Charlie’s love of tennis and the couple’s shared appreciation for tradition with a twist. Think red, white, and blue details, retro-style cocktails, and guests dressed to the nines in bold, celebratory looks. (We still can’t get over the stars-and-stripes pumps.)

On Saturday, the energy shifted to something a little softer — but no less intentional. Dom got ready at her family’s house in Newport with her sisters and closest friends (the matching yellow silk pajamas were a moment), then changed into a custom cream textured gown with puff sleeves that felt equal parts modern and timeless. Her bridesmaids wore soft butter yellow dresses in mixed silhouettes that played beautifully with the natural tones of Castle Hill Inn.

The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the water, with a floral arch that framed the view without competing with it — lots of layered greens, big white blooms, and a few loose branches to keep things from feeling too polished. Guests found their seats via a built-in escort card display filled with green paper cards and simple bud vases, echoing the couple’s palette of fresh greens, whites, and natural textures.

Dinner was served under a sailcloth tent, where every detail was designed to feel warm and welcoming. Scalloped pendant lights, custom eyelet table linens, garden-style centerpieces, and a menu that read like the best Italian summer dinner party — fresh pasta, grilled fish, olive oil cake. We wanted it to feel like a dinner that just kept unfolding in the best way possible.

One of our favorite things about this weekend was how seamlessly it all came together — each event had its own personality, but still felt cohesive. From start to finish, it was clear that Dom and Charlie trusted us to guide the process and make it feel effortless — and that trust made all the difference.
