The Philosophy.

The founders of Mavinhouse have over a decade of experience in the events industry, and Mavinhouse’s sister company 42 North has been nationally recognized by major media outlets including Brides, Vogue, and Harpers.

Seeing a gap in the industry, founders Britt Cole and Francie Dorman created Mavinhouse to serve a stylish, sophisticated client, from Maine to Charleston and beyond, who wants to be involved in the process of curating and designing their celebration.

    Comprehensive Wedding Planning + Custom Design Partnership

    You’re looking for a planner who will anticipate your wishes and deliver solutions with a value- oriented mindset. Partnership 01 is perfect if you would love more access to your planner – someone who will learn and appreciate the little details about you to create a truly personalized, special celebration on your behalf, and make the key decisions rooted in expertise that are supremely aligned with your personal vision.

    This partnership is perfect for you if you’re planning a destination-style, weekend long celebration and you’re seeking a professional partner to guide you from start to finish.

    We’ll manage and direct every detail from building your perfect team, to making sure you have your cocktail of choice in hand just after (or before!) those jittery I-dos. It is the most comprehensive partnership we offer, and is perfect for the couple who wants a high level of support as they plan and design their event.

    Full service wedding planning, design and production 

    Budget creation and management

    In person and virtual meetings including: planning meetings, site visits as needed based on the complexity of your event, design mockup meeting, tastings, final details meeting

    Access to your customized digital planning portal for communication and planning, with guest and vendor management tools, a full budget snapshot, and reminders about payment schedules throughout the process

    Vendor relations: including research, recommendations, contract reviews, presence at key vendor meetings, seamless communication and management from start to finish

    Personalized inspiration board creation, curation and review

    Fully custom design presentation to give you a comprehensive view of the final production and experience & design plan document to guide your design and production vendors

    Floor plan creation and management

    Management of all stationery design needs including vendor sourcing, design direction and wording for all paper items (save the dates, invitation suite, welcome packages, menus, etc…)

    Wedding website audit + design recommendations as needed

    Linen + table top selection

    Timeline creation to include beauty, transportation, ceremony & reception including multiple iterations to guide each member of your vendor team, the production schedule, and a comprehensive guide for your family and wedding party so everyone knows what to expect throughout the weekend

    Guest transportation management

    Rental order coordination if applicable

    Total reconnaissance, presentation and hand selection of your perfect venue – no matter the complexity of your vision. If that means we are building a venue from the ground up at a private home or non-traditional venue, it’s possible.

    2D and 3D renderings  to enhance the design presentation experience

    Guest relations and room block coordination as well as weekend itinerary recommendations

    RSVP management

    Styling recommendations for bridal party, with design inspiration and shopping suggestions

    Additional on-site production and/or breakdown days

Your planner will oversee the key details to ensure cohesiveness in design and production, and ease for you in your unique journey. Partnership 02 is a full planning partnership, which will allow you to rest easy, and feel confident, knowing we’ll be by your side every step of the way.

    This partnership is perfect for you if you have a vision for your wedding day, and you are excited to be involved in the planning process but you know you want an expert partner to guide you the rest of the way.

    We’ll collaborate on every detail, from matching you with the perfect team of vendors, to packing your gifts up at the end of the night, and everything in between.

    We’ll hel you to execute the perfect design elements for your event, from the save the dates to the favors, ensuring this event will be a night you and your guest will be talking about for years to come.

    This is a full planning partnership, which will allow you to rest easy, and feel confident, knowing we’ll be by your side every step of the way.

    Planning and production with high-level design counsel to ensure that vendors remain aligned with a central vision

    Budget management

    Access to your customized digital planning portal for communication and planning, with reminders about payment schedules throughout the journey, budget tracking, customized planning checklists, guest list and seating management, and more

    Research & recommendations for vendor partners and orchestration of those key partners leading up to and during your wedding weekend

    Council on your stationery choices

    Personalized inspiration board & design consultation throughout the process

    Floor plan creation & management

    Once a month meetings with your dedicated planner and communication through our project management tool

    Up to 2 site visits, one at the time of booking and one final walk through

    Wedding Day Planning + Production Partnership

    When you’ve put your creative vision to work but want the experts to help you tie it up in a pretty bow, Partnership 03 is the answer. Your dedicated planner will make sure that you can feel confident checking off those final to-do list items while alleviating any stress during the celebration itself – we’ve got it covered!

    This Partnership is perfect for you’ve started off strong, but you’re left wondering what’s next, and you want to be sure that you haven’t missed any details that will be detrimental to your event. With our counsel, you won’t waste your time (or money!) stressing over things like:

    1. finding the right vendors to complete your wedding day team.

    2. managing complex transportation logistics for hundreds of people.

    3. Creating a customized timeline that will make your event flow flawlessly.

    4. Choosing the right items to complete your event design, ensuring no details have been overlooked.

    Instead, you’ll feel relaxed as you check things off of your digital ‘to-do’ list, confident that you’re making the right choices for your event.

    Level of support

    Length of Support
    This partnership can be booked at any point in the planning process. Scheduled consultations with your planner typically begin six months prior to your event.

    Planning
    We will make recommendations for your remaining vendors and provide advice and support during the months before your event so that we can make sure that all of the logistics are properly handled, and all of the details are accurately accounted for.

    Design
    We will happily offer inspiration and recommendations on your design choices so that your event is a chic, curated representation of your personal style.

    Event Production
    This includes your planner onsite for the day of your event so that you have someone to oversee every detail from start to finish.

    Communication
    You have regular meetings throughout the months leading up to your event, and as your wedding date draws closer, you will have unlimited access to your planner. You will also be invited to our online planning system which allows you to seamlessly integrate wedding planning into your life with things like text reminders about important to-do’s and upcoming payment deadlines.
